Ensures the production reliability and scalability of customer application(s) and infrastructure services from an operations perspective. Responsible for restoring database/application services, guiding SRE and CS operations on database-related issues, working with development on database defects and migrations, and strategizing the scaling of the ServiceNow platform. Ideal candidate is a software engineer with a strong background in database technologies, performance analysis of databases and RHEL, and strong troubleshooting skills.
As a Database Architect, you will design, optimize, secure and maintain our database schema and infrastructure to enable and support enterprise-class SaaS operation. You will enhance our data architecture for scalability and efficiency, delivering solutions that contribute to customer success and help drive TradeCentric’s next phase of growth.
Strong experience with performance and stress testing tools and approaches for driving realistic customer simulations. 5+ years of database management and performance tuning. 5+ years of experience supporting or testing large scale web-based distributed applications on containers such as Apache/Tomcat, JBoss, Web Logic, and Web Sphere in a Unix environment. Proven experience with concurrency, multithreading, and distributed system architectures.
