Receive and process requests for patient health information in accordance with Company and Facility policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality and security with all privileged information and safeguard patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA standards.

The Authorization Specialist will submit approval requests using paper forms, printed documentation, fax, payer portals or other means to obtain authorization for services and will complete follow up to ensure timely turnaround and escalate problem accounts for resolution. They will have regular contact with patients, insurance plans, physician offices, and other personnel.

This is an entry level position responsible for processing all release of information (ROI), specifically medical record requests, in a timely and efficient manner ensuring accuracy and providing customers with the highest quality product and customer service.

Lead and oversee clinical operations across Theoria Medical facilities, ensuring exceptional patient care and consistent service quality. Design and implement clinical protocols, align clinical operations with strategic goals, and ensure regulatory compliance. Manage a team, oversee program integration, and enhance patient care models.

You will be responsible for responding to all types of ROI requests, ranging in scope and scale, to support the needs of our clients, payors, and other requesters. You’ll be joining a new, remote-friendly team of ROI Specialists reporting directly to the ROI Operations Lead, and will help us build out the health information vertical of Grow Therapy.
