Looking for an ambitious and skilled technical writer to broaden their scope to include instructional content and process documentation. The senior technical writer will help by updating and elevating our API reference, creating internal and external documentation to provide context and instructions, scoping out and managing build of a developer resource center, and incorporating new products and features into our documentation.
In this customer-facing role, you’ll troubleshoot infrastructure, application, and deployment issues across a broad tech stack. You'll work in a high-trust environment where autonomy, problem-solving, and clear communication are key. Tackle unsolved problems and making things better every day. Resolve technical issues across infrastructure, deployments, databases, caching, and web performance.
Advise and handle support requests from enterprise customers on the PlanetScale platform. Become a customer-facing subject-matter expert, identifying product gaps and escalating them while participating in an on-call rotation for high-priority issues. Requires excellent debugging and communication skills and comfort delving into unfamiliar code.
