Play a foundational role in strengthening GiveDirectly’s governance systems as it scales. Design the frameworks, tools, and reporting structures that allow the organization to identify, assess, and mitigate risk consistently across teams and geographies. Establish risk management clear, coordinated, and actionable across the organization. You will oversee policy management, regulatory compliance, and governance reporting.
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the launch and ongoing operation of new investment products, including hedge funds and separately managed accounts. You will also be actively involved in the negotiation of side letters, interpretation and tracking of contractual obligations, and broader legal initiatives across the firm. This position is open to remote work in the US with the option to work hybrid or onsite at our offices in Berkeley or New York.
