This is a remote position where the Clinical Pharmacist provides timely and accurate pharmaceutical care. Responsibilities include processing medication orders, providing drug information, monitoring for adverse reactions, and ensuring appropriate medication use. The role requires knowledge of pharmacy practice, state requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
The Director, Health System Strategy must be experienced with the implementations at the Large Hospital/IDN level. This involves extensive hospital interaction and relationship development at the Director/Key Stakeholder level as well as sound knowledge of the health-system pharmacy environment including the application of specialty pharmacy within the system. The Director of Health System Strategy effectively performs the required tasks to ensure successful acceptance of the SHS service and subsequent timely Go-Lives and customer satisfaction.
Provides clinical support to OHSU Pharmacy Benefit Management Services which includes formulary management, coverage determinations, Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee support, responding to clinical inquiries, and implementing clinical programs. You will respond to clinical inquiries from members, clients, providers, or pharmacies related to formulary options, therapeutic alternatives, and coverage determinations.
The position coordinates the pharmacy review and categorization of medication-related safety events, supports pharmacy supervisors/managers and hospital committees by writing and distributing requested reports, recommends changes to improve the safety of systems for patients, and assists in the training of students and residents.
