This internship supports APHA's and Get Ready’s social media tools and includes writing blog posts, designing infographics and recording and editing podcasts for Get Ready. The Get Ready intern serves as a project manager for each semester’s work, which may include planning activities for Get Ready Day and the Clocks and Stocks program and organizing for APHA’s Annual Meeting and Expo.

The Public Relations (PR) Coordinator supports the PR team by assisting in the execution of various PR initiatives and campaigns, ensuring the smooth operation of the PR department, handling administrative tasks, and facilitating communication between the department, divisions, practices and other stakeholders.

Develop and execute communications, digital and email marketing, and PR strategy to drive subscribers, engage key audiences, and enhance brand visibility. Produce high quality communications assets, including newsletter, social media, press releases, blog posts and other marketing materials. Work with a designer to put execute marketing assets, providing content for social posts, banners, animated ads, and some branding guidance.
