As a Senior Engineer at Nearform your main task will be designing & building applications. Responsibilities include supporting component design, development and maintenance and taking responsibility for personal technical quality standards within the project team. Assisting with defining structured practices, especially in source code management, building and deployment.

Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. Refactor existing code to improve its design in an agile environment. Develop test-covered code at a high quality and take part in team decisions to build scalable and maintainable apps.

Design and implement top-tier software solutions focused on security, performance, and scalability. Research, propose, and deliver smart technical approaches to complex business needs. Continuously improve existing architecture and legacy systems.

• Work with engineering teams to stand up a modern design system using Figma, React, Storybook, and other modern tools.
• Introduce and champion new methodologies that leverage AI tools like Cursor.
• Maintain design system components in Storybook, ensuring consistency across our platform.

• Lead execution of complex coding projects for enterprise clients and manage operational KPIs.
• Mentor and supervise large, distributed coding teams, ensuring accountability and high performance.
