You will develop, test, maintain, and improve our billing system. You will be a part of a cross-functional team focused on delivering results in a consistent, sustainable way.

As a Senior/Staff Backend Engineer, you’ll be key to scaling Rally’s core systems and services to power the next 100M+ participant records and billions of events we process. You’ll own critical systems like Email/SMS, data sync pipelines, search, workflow automation, and help lay the foundation for AI features. Our codebase is fully TypeScript, and while you don’t need experience with our exact stack, you should have strong JavaScript fundamentals and an eagerness to learn.

Design and develop a new Quoting system to enable clients to quote their customers quickly and accurately and scalable frameworks and APIs that enable flexible, self-serve quoting across multiple product types. Abstract specific problems into generic building blocks that clients can use to build and modify their systems while working in a multi-disciplinary software engineering team, solving design challenges.

As one of the first engineers at Mura, you will play a key role in building the product that our customers are interacting with day-to-day, and the platform on which we will grow moving forward. This is not just a coding role; you will be expected to deeply understand customer needs and make product decisions. You will need to architect systems with an eye to efficient scaling, help with customer launches, analyze data, and generally perform what tasks are necessary for Mura to deliver value to customers.

You’ll join our tight-knit, early-stage team, where you’ll solve interesting technical challenges and shape the direction of the product. As an early engineer on the team, you’ll work across the stack and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to own key product and engineering initiatives. You’ll work full-stack to own features end-to-end from prototyping to launch.

Architect and implement robust integrations for large language models into the North platform, ensuring seamless scalability and performance. Collaborate with modelling teams to refine LLM performance, reduce latency, and improve accuracy through iterative testing and tuning. Develop and maintain tools for analysing and monitoring model performance, enabling data-driven improvements. Take end-to-end ownership of features, maintaining high communication standards.

Craft robust systems and beautiful interfaces, write clear, performant, testable and elegant code and be a strong advocate for modern development practices. Collaborate with others in technical discussions, code reviews and architecture reviews.
