Responsible for collecting and verifying demographic, guarantor and insurance information. Responsible for ensuring that preauthorization’s/referrals and precertification’s are completed in accordance with payor requirements and prior to the scheduled encounter. Manage the process of aiding patients and their representatives with securing reimbursement for Hospital and Physician services provided. Assist patients in identifying and selecting an available option for insurance coverage and/or financial assistance.
The Senior Business Applications Analyst - Epic Population Health formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Designs, builds, and tests Applications to address complex business requests. Analyzes business and user needs, documentation of requirements and workflows.
This position assists the Clinical Data section of the Health Information Management (HIM) Department to ensure timely and accurate completion of coding and medical record documentation in order to meet the organization’s unbilled and regulatory compliance goals; ensures the data integrity of the electronic medical record and indices; assists with ensuring effective and efficient HIM workflows relative to the maintenance and accuracy of health information.
This position manages all activities pertaining to Epic Outpatient Clinical Applications ( e.g. Beacon, Phoenix, Research, Cosmos) . Ensures adherence to departmental budgets, project deadlines, and overall goals. Responsible for providing performance goals for staff, and evaluating their performance based on mutually agreed upon goals. Under general direction, provides technical assistance to facilitate planning and directing the design, implementation, modification, and operation of an information systems capability.
Act as the primary liaison between clinical stakeholders (physicians, nurses, technicians, researchers, and administrators) and technical teams. Responsible for analyzing complex clinical workflows, gathering requirements, and translating them into functional system specifications to optimize clinical information systems. Provide advanced (Tier 3) support for complex issues related to clinical applications, performing root cause analysis, and coordinating with vendors or internal teams for resolution.
