About the Role:
- As a Billing Agent, you'll ensure insurance information is accurate and benefits are verified before patient appointments.
- You'll play a critical role in supporting patients and clinical teams, delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contact patients via phone, email, and text to collect missing insurance information.
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits using Waystar, Availity, and insurance portals.
- Document all verification details accurately and assist with payment methods.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Customer Support, healthcare operations, or similar roles.
- Strong technical aptitude and proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and a genuine empathy for patients.
