Global Payroll Lead

As a Global Payroll Lead at Vanta you will work with the existing payroll team to own and execute end-to-end global payroll operations in the US and across multiple countries, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing for all employees. You will collaborate with internal teams (People, Finance, Legal, Accounting) and external vendors to ensure smooth payroll operations, including data collection, processing, and reporting. In this role you will maintain a strong understanding of local tax, social security, labor laws, and compliance requirements in each country where we operate. You will also drive payroll calendar adherence and ensure all critical deadlines are met, including funding, reporting, and filings. You will review payroll inputs and outputs with a high level of accuracy, reconciling payroll data to ensure alignment with GL and financial systems. Partnering with the Accounting team during month-end and year-end close to reconcile payroll accounts and support audit requirements. Leading continuous improvement projects to streamline and automate payroll processes and controls, ensuring scalability as the company grows internationally is something else you will do.
