Revenue Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and evaluate Veterans Administration claim payments using proprietary software and tools.
• Research and acquire medical records and supporting documentation for claims submission.
• Conduct telephone follow-up with payers and prepare initial bill packets or appeal letters.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2-4+ years in healthcare billing or collections, with 1+ years in VA billing.
• Intermediate understanding of insurance payer/provider claims processing and government benefit programs.

Special Considerations:

• Practices core values and meets productivity targets.
• Maintains stable performance under pressure and communicates effectively.
• Must be a self-starter with strong analytical and customer service skills.
