Director of Solutions Engineering

About the Role:

• We are seeking an experienced Director of Solutions Engineering to lead a globally distributed SE team of ~10 and growing.
• This role sits at the intersection of sales, product, and customer success, driving technical win rates and elevating pre-sales engagements.
• You will serve as the technical authority within our go-to-market motion and partner with leadership across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and develop the SE team across NA, EMEA, and APAC, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Own the technical win rate metric, establish consistent standards for demos and evaluations, and personally engage in strategic opportunities.
• Build SE playbooks, track metrics like win rate and coverage ratios, and manage tools and technical infrastructure.

What We're Looking For:

• 7+ years of Solutions Engineering experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing distributed teams.
• Proven ability to drive complex technical sales cycles in B2B enterprise software and strong executive presence.
• Analytical mindset, collaborative leadership style, and experience with sales methodologies like MEDDIC or Challenger.
