Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule, track, and coordinate patient appointments and pre-/post-appointment contacts.
  • Process community care consults using HealthShare Referral Manager, PPMS, and other systems.
  • Coordinate and authorize Veteran care with community providers when VA cannot supply timely care.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED and basic medical terminology knowledge.
  • Ability to type 50 wpm and use computerized programs for sensitive data entry.
  • Must reside within 50 miles of San Antonio, TX, and pass VA clearance.
