Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage a portfolio of 150–300 accounts, driving measurable outcomes across retention, adoption, and expansion.
- Proactively engage customers through calls, meetings, and campaigns, and lead renewal strategy to reduce risk.
- Monitor data and health signals to prioritize actions and identify expansion opportunities with Sales.
Core Activities:
- Conduct discovery to understand customer goals and position Newsela as a strategic partner.
- Solve root causes of customer challenges and maintain accurate forecasting and planning in systems.
- Leverage tools like Salesforce and Gainsight to manage your book of business with operational rigor.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience managing a large or high-volume portfolio of accounts.
- Proven success owning renewals, retention, or expansion targets and making frequent proactive calls.
- Data-driven and outcomes-focused, with strong prioritization skills to manage many accounts effectively.
