Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough and confidential assessments of accommodation requests, including reviewing medical documentation and engaging in an interactive process.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees with disabilities, providing guidance and support in requesting and implementing reasonable accommodations.
  • Manage a caseload of open accommodation requests and facilitate the interactive process between the employee and employer.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • BS/BA in Human Resource Management, Vocational Rehabilitation, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in RTW Services, Labor Relations, Absence Management, or Disability Claim Management.
  • Familiarity with ADA and FMLA, along with strong analytical and communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting for prolonged periods, frequently standing, walking, bending, and occasionally lifting 25 lbs.
  • Extensive typing and visual acuity for computer work.
  • Hearing sufficient to understand verbal instruction and answer telephones.
