Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming/outgoing calls from patients, guarantors, insurance companies, and attorneys.
- Review and resolve accounts with uninsured or residual patient financial responsibility.
- Provide information on coverage details, payment options, and collect payments.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED with 2-3 years related experience in healthcare billing/collections.
- Knowledge of Government, Commercial, and Private payers preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred; AAHAM certification within 6 months.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Strong customer service, problem-solving, and ability to balance empathy with resolution.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
