Department Overview:

  • Provides comprehensive coordination of services for the Pediatric Urology Practice.
  • Acts as liaison between OHSU providers and patient families.
  • Coordinates scheduling, insurance verification, and authorization tasks.

Function/Duties of Position:

  • Provide excellent customer service over the phone and in person.
  • Schedule procedures and follow-up appointments while meeting work queue metrics.
  • Verify insurance and obtain authorizations for all required testing and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • Six months of medical office experience with high volume direct patient contact.
  • Basic computer keyboarding skills including typing 30-45 wpm.
  • Successful completion of OHSU Administrative Internship Program may substitute for experience.
