ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Achieving and exceeding monthly and yearly sales goals within the assigned territory.
- Identifying, developing, and closing key opportunities within pharmaceutical, biopharma, CRO, environmental science, and academic life science research areas.
- Networking with key decision makers to strengthen relationships and uncover new opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S., M.S., or PhD degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum of 5+ years successful capital equipment scientific sales experience.
- Expertise in Bio-Layer Interferometry or Surface Plasmon Resonance products preferred.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must reside within the territory and be able to travel 40%, including overnight travel.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SFDC or other related CRM sales funnel tools.
- Possession of a clean driver's license and ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
