Role Overview:
- As Senior Legal Counsel, you will be a senior member of Paddle's legal and compliance team, reporting directly to the Director of Legal.
- You will advise cross-functionally, delivering first-rate legal advice in a fast-paced environment and balancing risk with commercial common sense.
What You'll Do:
- Support corporate and governance matters, negotiate commercial agreements, and supervise trainee lawyers.
- Lead on regulatory research, data protection agreements, and compliance policies for a global Merchant of Record.
Who We're Looking For:
- A UK-qualified solicitor with 8+ years of legal experience, ideally in payments, FinTech, or SaaS.
- A commercially-minded communicator who thrives on ambiguity and works from first principles.
