Key Responsibilities:
- Support the payroll and compliance workstream for the US Branch to US LLC transition.
- Assist with deregistration and final filings for the existing US Branch across ~36 state and local jurisdictions.
- Execute state and local payroll tax registrations for the new US LLC.
What You'll Bring:
- Knowledge of US payroll, payroll tax, and multi-state compliance requirements.
- Experience managing payroll projects, implementations, or entity transitions.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
Engagement Details:
- This is a temporary engagement, with the possibility of extension.
- Remote-first, with flexibility to be located anywhere in Canada.
