Ambulatory Access PAS Coordinator

Department Overview:

• The Ambulatory Access Services (AAS) PAS Coordinator provides operational leadership support to the AAS scheduling staff, acting as a senior subject matter expert.
• This role partners with managers, supervisors, and clinic teams to support training, quality improvement, and consistent communication across specialties.

Function/Duties:

• Maintains advanced knowledge of referral processing workflows and scheduling matrices, providing targeted training and quality reviews.
• Coordinates with employment supervisors for new employee checklists and training, and provides non-disciplinary coaching to staff.
• Supports administrative coordination, maintains documentation, and participates in operational improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Requires two years of front-line clerical experience in a clinical setting with direct patient contact, including scheduling experience.
• Preferred candidates have experience with OHSU's Epic Referral system and PAS policies.

Additional Details:

• Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5pm, with 90% of time on phone and computer.
• Must be able to share office space and work in a high-volume environment.
