The Senior Corporate Accountant is responsible for the full-cycle accounting and reporting requirements of assigned Stream corporate entities, delivering timely and accurate financial reports and assisting leadership with various tasks.

As the Business Unit Controller, you will ensure the accuracy of the Regional Balance Sheet and P&L in compliance with IFRS for Management Reporting and Local GAAP for Statutory Reporting. You will manage external audits, cooperate with Finance Business Partners for accurate accounting guidance, and address significant accounting issues. Your responsibilities include monthly and quarterly variance analysis, ensuring regional compliance with accounting policies, and collaborating on process improvements.

As a Senior Accountant, you'll be an integral part of the finance team, managing core accounting functions and ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies. The role involves accounts payable, credit card reconciliations, bank reconciliations, maintaining month-end schedules, leading process improvements, and collaborating across teams.

Lead day-to-day accounting operations, support month-end close, help scale our financial infrastructure, and ensure compliance with GAAP. Be a key partner in building out scalable processes that support the company’s growth and evolving business model. Assist in managing the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close activities.

The Financial Controller will ensure the financial integrity and operational excellence of Merit America's accounting functions by leading accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, maintaining a robust system of internal controls and compliance, and serving as the expert on financial risk and the safeguarding of company assets.

The Staff Accountant role will play a critical part in the day-to-day general accounting operations, including month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
