As a Lead Fraud Analyst, you’ll serve as a key individual contributor responsible for developing, analyzing, and optimizing our fraud risk strategy. You will own fraud risk analytics, fraud forecasting, metrics governance, and continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll work cross-functionally with Fraud Operations, Product, and Engineering to drive proactive, data-driven fraud detection strategies.

Be accountable for all aspects of Alliance’s venture funds’ digital asset custody and portfolio reporting operations. You should have previous experience in on-chain ops (claiming, staking, transacting, trading) and digital asset venture portfolio reporting for the purposes of fund administration and investor communications. The ideal candidate should thrive in general ops, detail-oriented work, spreadsheet ops and data analysis, clear communication, and efficiency improvement.

Upgrade’s Model Risk Management team plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity and reliability of the machine learning/statistical models used across the company. As a Model Risk Intern, you will be reporting to the Director of Model Risk Management and you will gain experience in identifying model risks and strengthening model robustness and performance. We’re looking for a driven, analytically-minded professional to join our credit operations team to maintain and propose improvements to credit policies, borrower and merchant underwriting, and risk management. Responsibilities include performing reviews of merchant and borrower applications, working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, and analyzing and proposing improvements to current processes.

Partner with model developers in the Machine Learning team to maintain robust and up-to-date model inventory, model risk assessments, documentation, and monitoring reports. Answer model questions from lending partners, in collaboration with other teams. Partner with central Upstart’s Legal and Compliance teams as needed to ensure our model risk management implementation meets or exceeds Upstart’s internal policies as well as regulatory requirements.

Assist in the execution of cryptocurrency operations and processes, focusing on ensuring that cryptocurrency deposits, withdrawals, and settlements processes work as intended and that they are continuously improved. Responsibilities include assisting with preparing reports, reviewing audit logs, and collaborating with various teams.

The Fraud Solutions Manager will design and implement innovative and robust fraud controls across financial products and customer journeys, strengthening fraud prevention measures and enhancing digital experience, requiring fraud domain expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage engineering implementation projects.

Be a key member of the Options clearing team and responsible for Options life cycle management, daily execution of all operational critical activities related to options reconciliations, settlements and expiration. Work with motivated Operations Associates to ensure the accuracy of the records we hold for clients. Take ownership of critical trade and position reconciliations escalating to the trade desk, counterparties and other teams as necessary to reduce risk.

Supervise a team of 4–5 analysts in detecting, monitoring, and analysing fraud-related activities. Lead comprehensive investigations into anomalous transactions and user behaviours to identify fraudulent patterns. Carry out feature extraction and data analysis to uncover key fraud indicators and improve detection models. Devise and implement strategic risk mitigation plans to proactively manage emerging threats.

Build out our foundational processes for generating and surfacing model performance metrics, including crafting + calculating the metrics and building python rails. Primarily work with a Python ecosystem, using SQL, SageMaker, S3, Metabase and Git to support. Act as point of contact for Strategic Financial Partners, and manage their model governance needs as part of our larger governance strategy and generate model risk reports and metrics.
