This is a remote opportunity. The IT Cybersecurity Engineer participates in data security initiatives and is responsible for troubleshooting data security problems and developing custom scripts to enhance existing cybersecurity, as well as participating in root-cause analysis to determine improvement strategies when failures occur.

Working as part of a small cross-functional team, you'll participate in development and support the team's effort to maintain a secure web presence. You'll be responsible for managing web security applications to monitor and mitigate attacks on web facing applications. Ensure internal and external data security, adhering to best practices and compliance standards.

Focus on driving new business by working with Account Executives within territory. Be part of a team that helps provide direction for engineering cyber-security solutions that will be offered to customers. Make design and configuration recommendations for prospects/customers' environment. Position may require up to 25% travel within the GuidePoint Heartland region.
