The Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) Auditor will facilitate improvement system-wide in the overall quality, completeness, and accuracy of the medical record documentation through extensive audit investigation, education and data analysis. Responsible for identification of patterns, trends, and opportunities for CDI staff to improve accuracy and outcomes. Provides education to CDI team members and physicians, if needed and assists with denial management.

The HIM Outpatient Surgery/Ambulatory Coder reviews outpatient/inpatient EHR. This position monitors CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS code changes. Assigns codes (CPT, HCPCS, and diagnosis) for professional and hospital accounts for Primary Care/Medical Specialty/Simple Procedural services from clinical documentation for accurate professional billing and facility APC assignment.

Leverage technical and clinical expertise to design and improve Regard’s AI clinical insights platform. You will design and execute projects to improve the software’s ability to process data from various clinical sites and EHRs, surface and suggest diagnoses, and present relevant and actionable clinical data to clinicians.
