The primary purpose of this position is to develop and implement a robust program to prevent and reduce Houselessness among Oregon veterans, and to help address the complex needs of veterans experiencing Houselessness. The coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining an inclusive network, liaison and referral system with active programs providing culturally responsive services to at-risk and houseless veterans, including access to earned state and federal benefits as a trained USDVA Certified Veterans Service Officer. This position requires a high degree of independence and receives general supervision from the ASA Division Director.
