In this role, you will drive the strategic and technical direction of AI engineering across multiple product lines, shaping how advanced AI capabilities power user-facing automation experiences. You will lead high-impact engineering teams, guiding experimentation, architecture decisions, and end-to-end delivery of AI-driven solutions. Working closely with product, design, and go-to-market teams, you will help define the roadmap, unify core AI initiatives, and turn bold ideas into scalable outcomes.

• Optimize Ubuntu for new silicon technologies, such as hardware accelerators and AI stacks.
• Debug issues on open source code and assist customers in integrating their apps and SDKs.
• Maintain Ubuntu, silicon features, and silicon-optimized packages across various platforms and technologies.

• Lead the fintech engineering team to design, build, and scale wallet infrastructure.
• Integrate wallets with regional banks through PSPs, orchestrating pay-ins and ensuring treasury operations.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Treasury, and PSP Integration teams to ensure adherence to local regulations.

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Express.
• Build and optimize server-side APIs, data models, and business logic using the Express framework.
• Develop reusable React components, hooks, stories, and tests to support scalable front-end functionality.

As a Senior Backend Engineer on our Geo team within the Tenant Scale group, you will drive the development of scalable and performant product features for three distinct product categories: GitLab Replication, Disaster Recovery, and Backup & Restore. You will lead technical initiatives, mentor team members, and actively learn from the customer experience to guide the team in supporting customer needs.

We’re looking for a software engineer with experience on multiple blockchains like Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Solana to build the accounts system for the MetaMask wallet, including designing a scalable architecture to integrate new account models, integrate different hardware wallets, improvements around the accounts “Backup & Sync” feature, and develop a wide variety of solutions to improve the wallet’s UI/UX.
