About the role:
- Own the most important growth channel: expanding our partner ecosystem to reach millions of small and medium-sized businesses.
- Source and close complex, multi-year agreements with payroll providers, benefits brokers, and embedded fintech partners.
What you get to do every day:
- Shape partnership strategy, prioritize channels, and personally lead negotiations for the highest-value deals.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to launch and operationalize partnerships.
- Drive clean handoffs to Partner Management, ensuring long-term success of each relationship.
What you bring to the role:
- 10+ years in partnerships or business development with a track record of closing high-value deals.
- Deep domain fluency in fintech, retirement, or benefits ecosystems, plus strong analytical and commercial instincts.
- Executive presence and a builder's mindset—comfortable with ambiguity and standing up new channels from scratch.
