Responsibilities:
- Jump in quickly to triage and resolve complex partner escalations across payroll, tax, compliance, and money movement.
- Monitor partner Slack channels and respond with urgency and ownership.
- Deliver high-touch service to a concentrated portfolio of Check's largest partners.
Key Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years in operations, service delivery, or support with payroll/tax operations experience.
- Proven ability to operate in high-complexity, fast-moving environments.
- Strong communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
Work Environment:
- Distributed team across the US; remote, hybrid, or in-office options in New York City or San Francisco.
- Offices open all week with meals on Tuesdays and Thursdays, plus events and offsites.
- Annual 3-day company retreat in spring.
