The Role:
- The Commercial Account Executive is responsible for producing new business sales revenue from software license sales within a defined territory.
- This role focuses on Mid-Market clients with 1,000 to 5,000 employees and requires building relationships that drive growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy including prospecting, qualification, and account management.
- Partner with marketing to increase growth and conduct product demonstrations and presentations.
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas while maintaining CRM hygiene and providing transparency.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Commercial Account Executive (or equivalent) in the IT industry.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and work with a matrixed support organization.
- Executive-level relationship management experience and willingness to travel 20-50%.
