The Opportunity:
- Execute front-line sales to help achieve CommonLit's double-bottom line: increasing earned revenue and deepening school usage.
- Own a full sales cycle as an individual contributor, from first outreach to closed deal, working directly with teachers and administrators.
- Have clear, individual annual bookings goals and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage your own pipeline end to end, including outreach, calls, consulting, closing, and handoff.
- Maintain clean and organized records of all opportunities in Salesforce and conduct monthly pipeline reviews.
- Lead effective sales calls with teachers and administrators, including live virtual calls and in-person presentations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, with 3+ years of K-12 classroom teaching experience and 1-2 years of sales or account management experience.
- Exceptional speaking, listening, and written communication skills; comfortable with Salesforce, Hubspot, Notion, Google Suite, Slack, Zoom.
- Strong alignment with CommonLit's mission, knowledge of the education landscape, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Salary & Benefits:
- Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 salary, plus commission.
