• Designs, installs, configures, and maintains databases required for IT service operations and ITSM tooling
• Ensures stable day-to-day database operations, including availability, performance, and data integrity
• Implements and maintains monitoring, alerting, and performance analysis for operations-relevant databases, in alignment with central monitoring standards

• Package software into our supabase/postgres repo using Nix or Debian packaging.
• Manage PostgreSQL lifecycles, ensuring timely major, minor, and extension upgrades.
• Expand platform release systems to allow developers to increasingly self-service over time.

• Own the reliability, uptime, and continuity of Finom’s PostgreSQL banking databases.
• Define and lead database scalability and performance strategy.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and standards definition.
