Events Owner, People Team

Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead all logistics for the Camunda Kickoff, including venue sourcing, contract negotiation, travel coordination, rooming, F&B, AV, and on-site execution, while managing an agency.
• Curate content in partnership with the CEO, CPO, and functional leaders to ensure the agenda reflects company strategy and priorities.
• Manage the event budget, track actuals against it, and report clearly on spend.
• Build scalable processes for event planning, vendor management, and stakeholder communication.

Culture & Connection:

• Identify and execute moments that reinforce Camunda culture throughout the year: team milestones, recognition events, and seasonal touchpoints.
• Partner with People Business Partners and the broader People team to ensure programming reflects where the company is and where it is going.
• Advise on the events calendar holistically, prioritizing impact and avoiding Camundi fatigue.

Operational Excellence:

• Build scalable processes for event planning, vendor management, and stakeholder communication that the broader team can use.
• Maintain and evolve the internal events playbook.
• Track and report on event effectiveness using clear metrics tied to attendance, engagement, and feedback.
