Referral Processing:
- Reviews referrals to determine if patients can be seen or require medical review.
- Assigns ticket scheduling for optimized patients.
Managed Care:
- Backs up surgery, clinical, and DME authorizations for all surgical cases.
- Ensures department procedures are followed and attends monthly meetings.
Scheduling Office Coordination:
- Provides leadership and oversight of PAS Specialists and Resource Specialists.
- Verifies timely scheduling and meets department and ambulatory standards.
Training and Competency:
- Provides training and guidance to all PAS staff and assists with onboarding.
- Ensures adherence to standard work and contributes to performance evaluations.
