Responsibilities:
- Manage sales team to implement growth plans and achieve software revenue targets and business objectives.
- Develop and execute marketing, sales, and business development strategies to generate new business through strategic selling and managing key customer relationships.
- Hire, direct, and evaluate staff, assign sales goals, and coordinate account strategies with the management team.
Required Qualifications:
- Twelve years of experience in software sales, including five years in a leadership role and two years in formal management.
- Proven record of complex solution selling, achieving sales targets, and supervising a sales organization.
- Strong negotiation skills and understanding of strategic sales techniques in the hardware and software industry, with knowledge of the life sciences sector.
