As a Senior Accounting Consultant, you will own the general ledger and all day-to-day accounting activities, including overseeing our collections efforts. Managing the monthly / quarterly close process, you'll also lead complex accounting projects and initiatives assisting with customer and vendor contracts, invoice generation, and AR aging follow-up.

This role is responsible for all aspects of financial settlement with suppliers, maintaining banking components of supplier accounts, and issue resolution. Direct interaction with suppliers and internal departments is a key function. The specialist performs moderately complex accounting functions to ensure accurate processing of accounts payable transactions and addresses escalated issues, ensuring compliance with NYU policy and IRS regulations.

This position supports the order management and billing function, working closely with Deal Operations, Revenue Accounting, and Sales to see orders through to invoicing.
