Benchmarking processes and tools within the Fixed Assets area. Driving change management initiatives, including cooperation with Metro Group entities in various locations. Acting as a Subject Matter Expert and first point of contact for the assigned Fixed Assets process.

The Property Accountant will be responsible for all aspects of financial reporting for the assets, Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports and bank reconciliation’s in accordance with owner deadline/requirements while adhering to policies and procedures and maintaining adequate internal controls, Perform cash management functions, initiate and post journal entries, and research & resolve issues as needed, Analyze expenses and prepare accruals based on budget, Review accounts payable activity & cash balances and select invoices for payment, Perform monthly general ledger account analysis and balance sheet account reconciliations, Prepare audit-related requests and other duties as assigned.

An exciting opportunity for an intern to join a fast-paced start-up environment to help build out Juniper Square’s Fund Administration service offering. As an entry-level intern fund accountant, you will partner with other members of the fund accounting team and cross-functional teams within Juniper Square to deliver best-in-class Fund Administration services.

The position identifies and implements best practices and improvements in disbursements and payments reconciliations, including the day-to-day cash, checks, and ACH deposits reconciliation. The person is expected to drive enhancements and efficiencies through automation of the processes and should be highly motivated with excellent attention to detail.
