Financial Accountant for Reinsurance companies, Protective manages Books, Taxes, and records. Point of contact for assigned company dealerships, shareholders, and Protective Sales force, preparing financial statements, tax returns, and domicile related filings. Analysis of company performance and shareholder financial reviews are required.

Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly accounting tasks to maintain accurate general ledger activity. Participate in the month-end close process, prepare/post manual journal entries accurately and timely. Perform reconciliations, monitor variances, and foster communication with cross-functional partners. Review offshore accounting team work, maintain documentation, assist with audits and accounting projects.
