Reporting to the SVP, Finance, the Controller will be responsible for financial reporting, systems, and operations. You will oversee the closing cycle, tech stack management, payroll, tax compliance, internal controls, and audits. As a trusted partner, you will support departments to ensure performance against the plan and provide advisory around investments and growth.

As a Financial Accounting Manager, you will provide critical support to our accounting operations during a key transition period focusing on SOX compliance, systems implementation, and statutory reporting and audit following Envato’s acquisition by Shutterstock Inc. You will work closely with the existing team and help deliver these key projects while supporting the team.

In this role, you'll own activities in accordance with the monthly close timeline and adherence to USGAAP, primarily in the area of revenue accounting, the full order-to-cash process, GL entries and account reconciliations, and will work cross functionally with several department leads and team members.

Responsibilities include daily management of accounts payable and banking activities, as well as assisting with the annual financial audit.

As an Accounting Lead you will lead cross-functional initiatives to remediate control deficiencies and implement operational efficiencies into the month-end close process. You will develop project plans, communicate goals, and improve processes to ensure timely monthly close and accuracy of accounting entries. Additionally, you'll resolve business topics and prepare workpapers for key accounts.
