The Senior Development Manager will work under the direction of the Director, Institutional Development and in close collaboration with other staff in the Development department and across the organization, managing a portfolio of 65-75 current and prospective donors, with a focus on foundations, corporations, and city and state government agencies. They will be responsible for building a pipeline of potential funding opportunities, cultivating new donors, and stewarding existing funders.

Work closely with the CEO in support of fundraising, stakeholder management, and ambitious plans for growth. You will be responsible for Foundation & Funder Engagement, Cross-Functional Collaboration, and Strategic Narrative & Positioning. Partner with the CEO to cultivate and grow a strong portfolio of private and institutional funders, translate ideas into action, and craft compelling concept notes and proposals for support that reflect USDR’s unique value and potential impact.
