As Head of Lending, you will lead Kraken’s global lending business, covering both on-platform and OTC activities, working cross-functionally with various teams to scale Kraken’s lending footprint and maximize balance sheet efficiency. This is a critical leadership role with high impact and visibility. The role involves owning and scaling Kraken’s Lending Business, driving profitability and balance sheet optimization, and expanding institutional lending & yield offerings.

This role involves incident handling, risk management, and operational tasks related to listed tokens. Responsibilities include identifying root causes of incidents, assessing impact, conducting reviews of token performance, identifying risks, and driving initiatives to improve risk detection and mitigation. The role also involves onboarding new listings and liaising with parties to facilitate operational requests.

Conduct extensive market research to identify new trading opportunities. Design and PoC implementation of effective trading strategies based on market research findings. Perform research and TCA of existing trading strategies to enhance risk-adjusted returns and adapt to changing market conditions.
