As a research engineer for Learnable Planner you will support integration of new AI technologies into our autonomy/planner stack enabling our launch of fully driverless autonomous trucks, contributing towards Waabi's vision of a single AI system that learns end-to-end and in a provably safe manner as well as our revolutionary high-fidelity, closed-loop simulator, Waabi World.

We are looking for an ambitious and talented AI Developer responsible for researching AI technologies, designing, developing, and deploying software solutions, and continuously improving our machine learning processes. This role involves improving iteration time between prototyping and end-user testing, turning prototype software projects into demonstrations and production software.

The tracking team is responsible for tracking road actors and road elements as well as estimating a temporally consistent belief of the local scene from a history of detections. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will deliver ML solutions to tracking problems in a self-driving system, such as learning probabilistic actor motion and sensor models. You'll work in a team to deliver state-of-the-art tracking systems for L4 self-driving vehicles.

Shape the technical direction of 1upHealth as the first AI engineering hire. Define best practices and build high-impact AI-driven solutions from the ground up. Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex healthcare challenges into innovative products that leverage advanced AI techniques and implement end-to-end AI systems.

Lead the development and deployment of state-of-the-art machine learning models. Design and implement scalable ML solutions, optimize deep learning architectures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into production systems. Train and optimize deep learning and computer vision models for image and video processing tasks.
