As a Senior Back End Developer, you will be a technology advocate and mentor within your team. You will understand complex customer problems and build solutions that add value. You will develop, test, and ship critical user-facing features regularly.

• Lead the fintech engineering team to design, build, and scale wallet infrastructure.
• Integrate wallets with regional banks through PSPs, orchestrating pay-ins and ensuring treasury operations.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Treasury, and PSP Integration teams to ensure adherence to local regulations.

Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using PHP and frameworks like Laravel. Integrate with external billing and payment services, ensuring secure transaction processing. Troubleshoot issues within payment flows and optimize system performance.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems that power digital platforms and content management tools.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions.
• Optimize data workflows and mentor junior engineers.

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain robust voice solutions in a high-availability, low-latency cloud environment.
• Implement and optimize features across the ConversationRelay platform using LLMs and modern cloud technologies.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment to decompose complex problems and deliver high-quality, scalable software.

• Design, develop, and deliver releasable, maintainable software.
• Develop and maintain automated test systems to ensure product reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to assess impact of changes.

Develop and maintain REST APIs using Java 17/21 and Spring Boot. Build microservices powering FX order flow, pricing, and trade execution. Troubleshoot trading-related performance issues and optimize latency.

• Lead the design, development, and enhancement of backend services using Java, PHP, and modern architectural patterns.
• Build and optimize database structures and queries for high-volume applications using PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Mentor and support other engineers, promoting technical excellence, clean code, and a collaborative culture.

• Build and maintain microservices, REST APIs, and WebSocket services.
• Design database schemas and optimize database queries.
• Participate in system design discussions and adopt new technologies.

Your team’s primary focus will be on building new features for end-user data collection flows, building integrations between existing systems, and other exciting applications across Applied. You’ll partner with our global team of engineers and product managers designing, architecting, building, and testing impactful products. Success will require fluency in SaaS-based application development, test automation, analytical skills, and unwavering dedication to software quality.
