The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will serve as a strategic and operational leader, responsible for overseeing CALSTART’s core business operations to ensure alignment with the organization’s mission and long-term strategy. The COO will play a key role in driving organizational effectiveness, strengthening cross-functional collaboration, and scaling CALSTART’s impact inthe clean transportation and climate space.

You’ll contribute to projects that directly impact our business operations, including fundraising efforts, and gain exposure to real-world public and private revenue generation. The intern will support revenue generation initiatives, create summaries of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), develop and design PowerPoint presentations, conduct data analysis, and perform research to inform funding opportunities.

You’ll contribute to projects that directly impact the Clean Mobility Options Program (CMO). This is a hands-on opportunity to gain exposure to a statewide incentive program in California. Assist in analyzing budgets and tracking expenditures for mobility project awardees to ensure compliance and effective use of funds.
