WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Manage the onboarding process by sending hiring documents, background check packets, and welcome letters.
- Conduct and track all background checks, reference checks, and driving record verifications.
- Prepare weekly orientation rosters, maintain personnel and licensing files.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED and at least 2+ years of HR experience related to recruiting, interviewing, or hiring.
- Experience using HR and onboarding software, including Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Strong command of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Google Sheets) for reporting, analysis, and workflow management.
SKILLS CRUCIAL TO SUCCESS:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring accuracy in onboarding documentation and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage a high-volume onboarding workload efficiently.
- Strong understanding of federal and state employment laws, leave administration, and workplace regulations relevant to onboarding processes.
