An overview of this role:

  • As Area Vice President, you'll lead GitLab's Financial Services sales organization, shaping how we win new customers and expand existing relationships.
  • You'll build a team of Regional Sales Directors who lead Enterprise and Commercial Account Executives, helping customers improve software development with GitLab's platform.
  • Reporting to the VP of Sales, AMER, you'll set area strategy while staying close to customers and day-to-day execution.

What you'll do:

  • Deliver a strategy to win new customers and expand accounts, driving year-over-year ARR growth.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a diverse sales organization of Regional Sales Directors and Strategic Account Executives.
  • Build key customer relationships, provide accurate forecasts, and partner across Marketing, Channel, and Product teams.

What you'll bring:

  • Progressive second-line leadership experience leading strategic sales teams.
  • Deep experience selling into Financial Services accounts with consistent overachievement against quota.
  • High integrity, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
