We are looking for a high-energy, hands-on Senior Revenue Accountant who has significant experience with reviewing B2B SaaS sales contracts, managing appropriate revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, and participating in day-to-day billing and revenue accounting activities. Samsara's Revenue Accounting team is responsible for the appropriate recognition of revenue and related disclosure items. The Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting will support the Director, Revenue Accounting in providing technical thought leadership on in-flight deals, evaluate and enforce critical revenue accounting policies, influence system enhancements that automate processes and reduce risk, and drive an efficient revenue audit cycle.

This includes annual audit management, general ledger accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, cash management, regulatory reporting, tax compliance, revenue recognition, commissions and equity. Responsibilities also include the development and documentation of internal control policies and procedures.

The dscout team is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to support the growing company and the Finance team. Reporting to the Controller, the role involves ensuring transactions are reported accurately, accounts are reconciled, and financial statements are prepared timely. Much of this work will be collaborative, and involve close partnerships with many other departments across dscout.

Own a portion of the revenue close process, including preparation of revenue-related journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement analyses. Ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606 and internal policy. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Strategic Finance, Legal, and Operations.
