Join the team as Twilio’s next Senior Cloud Security Engineer. The Cloud and Application Security team enables delivery of secure by default products to reduce our attack surface against an evolving threat landscape. This position will enhance Twilio’s Cloud Security capabilities to improve visibility, reduce vulnerabilities and foster secure engineering practices, building key aspects of the program with InfoSec and Engineering teams.

The Senior Cyber Security Analyst monitors, evaluates, and responds to threats targeting the company’s cloud-hosted digital banking platform, identifies vulnerabilities, supports technical security controls, manages security incidents, and enhances the organization’s cyber threat awareness, supporting compliance, audit, and risk management functions.

As a Security Engineer you will protect the OP Stack by proactively identifying vulnerabilities and threats through rigorous security assessments, threat modeling, design reviews, and code reviews. You'll collaborate closely with engineers across our stack to embed security best practices into every phase of development, from initial design through deployment and operations. By building and maintaining effective security tools, processes, and procedures, you'll improve our security posture to help safely and swiftly ship code.

Partner with engineers to assess the security risk of new products and features. As a member of the Secure Design team, you will report to the Senior Manager of Product Security. Our Secure Design team enables DigitalOcean to build secure-by-design products. You will collaborate with other security teams and the rest of DigitalOcean to guide secure architecture design, reduce security risk in the organization, and empower engineers to make informed security decisions.

Help lead the design and development of the Security Platform —the foundation that enables secure and scalable identity governance at Lumos. Build and evolve core security systems that protect customer data, enable enterprise trust, and empower product teams to move fast with confidence. You’ll work across engineering, product, and platform teams to design secure-by-default primitives.
