The Associate Director, Substance Use Disorder Programs will lead the growth and expansion of Spring Health’s Substance Use Disorder Program within Specialty Care. This is a full time position that is fully remote that will report to the Senior Director of the Specialty Care Programs, serving as a clinical lead for SUD providers and leading the design, development, and scaling of comprehensive SUD treatment programs.

This role is for any Behavioral Health Providers licensed in multiple states throughout the United States. As a core member of the clinical team, you will have access to ongoing training and support from a GI-focused clinical team to help you develop a working knowledge of digestive health conditions and implement GI focused psychological services. Your role will complement services provided by other members of the care team.
Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients, diagnose and treat mental health disorders and create individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances. Meet with patients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress. Involve and advise family members when appropriate. Plan outreach and referral activities in surrounding communities.
This position requires full participation and dedication within a self-directed team to provide a variety of services that include initial intake, assessments, brief therapy, crisis evaluation, and phone triage with clients. You will procure re-authorization from insurance companies, coordinate mental healthcare benefits, and make referrals to appropriate services using approved therapeutic procedures and adhering to organizational policies and ethical behavior.
Work remotely providing therapy to seniors with Sailor, who will take care of finding patients for you. As a licensed therapist, you will deliver evidence-based psychotherapy to older adults in a virtual setting, design personalized treatment plans, and manage electronic documentation. Deliver evidence-based teletherapy to children and adolescents via our EHR/telehealth platform. Build strong therapeutic relationships with youth, families, and school partners. Provide psychoeducation and clinical guidance to parents and caregivers. Contribute to program growth and help refine Daybreak’s clinical offerings.
