ELEKS is seeking a Strong Middle / Senior Automation Test Engineer (Python) to work on a web-based platform for financial advisors. The platform enables advisors to control the user experience by enabling or disabling features and functionality for each client. The engineer will be responsible for delivery, performance testing, measurements, general reports, etc. Responsibilities include reviewing requirements, preparing test data, developing automation scripts, logging results, and collaborating with the team.

You will join a cross-functional team delivering an internal Product for automated provisioning of Azure Virtual Machines with approval workflows to ensure compliance and governance. The QA team’s mission is to ensure that the product is stable, secure, and user-friendly as we enhance and scale its capabilities.

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript. Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. Document defects and work closely with developers to verify fixes. Ensure high test coverage and continuously improve testing frameworks. Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline. Participate in sprint ceremonies and advocate for quality at every stage.

This role is perfect for someone who’s technically curious, detail-oriented, and enjoys working across a wide range of creative tools - from 3D software plugins to standalone desktop applications. You’ll lead efforts in both manual and automated testing, identify QA process improvements, source new 3D assets to further validate our tools, and help us ship reliable, artist-friendly software used by professionals around the world.

Work with engineering and manual testers to code automated end to end regression tests to validate application functionality. This includes writing and debugging scripts, performing peer code reviews, logging defects, and analyzing results based on CI/CD execution runs. Efficiently code new scripts using a Webdriver.io framework and document the linkage between automated and manual regression tests.
